It’s all about needlepoint..

Lake Houston Chapter of the American Needlepoint Guild, Inc. is dedicated to the pursuit of excellence and education in the art of needlepoint. We are located north of Houston in the Humble, Kingwood, Spring, Porter, Valley Ranch, and Summerwood areas of Houston, but we welcome anyone who wants to join us!

We have a great time sharing our stitching experiences and learning new things together. Check out our Calendar to see what we’re up to.

…and food!

Our members share their best recipes with each other. These are published in our bimonthly newsletter as well as at our meetings.

Monthly Meetings

LHANG meets on the second Thursday of each month, January through November. Check the calendar for location. Meetings start at 6:45.

We start each meeting with a business meeting and then progress into Show and Tell. Members and guests bring their latest accomplishments to share. It’s so inspiring to see the work of others!

We finish the meeting with the monthly educational program. Many times participants will stitch together on a directed project; other times we will have an open stitching session.

We welcome visitors and would be very happy to have you join us for education and friendship.

Join us for dinner at 5:30 p.m. before the meetings. Check the calendar for the location each month.

Monthly Stitch-In

Members 1.jpg

Stitching together is a fun activity to promote fellowship through stitching. So we get together once a month to do just that!

Bring your current project, visit and stitch with us! This is an informal way to get to know other needlepointers in the Kingwood area, and it’s a come-and-go arrangement. Typically, we meet from 10AM until 2PM, so bring your lunch.

This is a free event! Look forward to seeing you there!

Check the calendar for locations, as they vary depending on where we can book space.

Annual Retreats
